EDF Renewables is seeking for its Asset Operation Solutions (AOS) Division an:
OPERATION CONTROL CENTER TECHNICIAN (M/F)
Within the frame of Operation and Maintenance activities under contract with EDF Renewables, you will handle the supervision and the production follow-up of wind farms and solar plants located in Europe with an appropriate level of urgency, efficiency and accuracy.
Reporting to the Operation Control Center Manager, you will have to perform the following missions:
Handle the alarms as they occur in line with the procedures given
Manage the work requests from the maintenance teams in CAMM
Manage the work requests from the grid managers in order to transfer the control of assets for the work procedures, using specifically phrased messages
Carry out the end of shift handover report
Manage the data transmission issues
Contribute to the continuous improvement of alarm handling processes
Authorize the access to the assets
Monitor the Maintenance Technicians' activity via the operations database to guarantee their security during operations works
Alert the other asset operators in the event of work being carried out in order to ensure the coordination between the different parties
Participate, where applicable, in the crisis management groups
Communicate the daily production forecasts to RTE
Correct the production forecasts in relation to scheduled work
From the SCADA and CAMM, draw up, for the asset management, the monthly operating reports per production sector
Ensure a first level technical response to the maintenance technicians' requests during maintenance work
Alert the supervision team in the event of problems observed on the SCADA system
Process the DR/DICT requests
Compétences et qualités recherchées
The successful candidate should have a two or three year technical degree (HND, HNC, Bachelor, BUT, BTS...) in Electrical Engineering, Industrial maintenance, Physical measurements or in a similar field
Beginners are welcome. No previous experience required
Ability to multitask and liaise with professionals in different fields
Ability to explain problems simply and clearly
Good organizational skills and autonomy
Good collaboration and communication skills
Native speaker in English or Fluent English is mandatory. French is a real plus.
Proficiency in MS Office suite software.
Our Operation Control Center requires 24/7 operations with limited personnel requiring 8 hours shifts. You will be will be sometimes on the day shift, on the swing shift and on the night shift.
