This VIE position based in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, is for young graduates looking for an international experience in a strong growing finance group during a 12 months assignment (renewable).
The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France's eligibility criteria, opened to candidates under 28 and from the member states of the European Economic Space.

ODDO BHF is a Franco-German financial group with a history dating back more than 170 years. Context
Private debt fund providing senior financings to German and European mid-cap companies
Heritage of c. 6 years as a debt fund platform and 30-year track record in leveraged finance via BHF Bank
Investor commitments of c. EUR600m in funds and mandates and currently raising the second fund generation
High investment pace with c. 70% of commitments already deployed (currently 21 portfolio companies)
Entrepreneurial team of 6 experienced executives (o/w four French speaking)
Part of successful European Asset management group with c. EUR60bn Assets under management
Duties
Assist senior executives of the deal team, primarily but not exclusively through financial analysis, transaction structuring, and industry research on prospective private debt investments
Perform due diligence, credit analysis and financial analysis
Prepare new deal summaries and investment paper to the Investment Committee
Assist in preparation of transaction documents, marketing materials and fund marketing efforts
Support senior executives in staff meetings, functional meetings, team and client meetings
Provide internal follow up of screening of prospective investment opportunities as well as tracking of the firm's investment pipeline
Assist with monitoring of assets including review of monthly operating results and updating relevant internal monitoring / reporting templates
Maintain appropriate deal database and document filing systems and ensure compliance with records retention procedures
Travel may be required, mainly across Germany
Profil et compétences recherchées
Master's degree with a financial or business-related specialization, ideally from leading business school (Grande École de Commerce) or engineering school
Excellent analytical, technical, interpersonal, and client facing skills
Strong desire to learn and succeed
Strong financial modeling skills and ability to conduct financial and credit analysis
Investment writing and presentation skills
Ability to work independently as well as being a team player
Fluent in English, at least basic German skills are a plus
