You will join a department in charge of strategy and external growth for the ODDO BHF Group, with direct reporting line to the Management Board.

Corporate Development identifies, reviews and analyses potential M&A opportunities for the ODDO BHF Group and is responsible for the successful execution of M&A transactions. The department coordinates strategic initiatives involving various business lines of the Group. The department further supports the Management Board and business lines in defining business strategy and benchmarking business performance.

Descriptif du poste

In your role you will work closely with department members, supporting them predominantly in Corporate Development activities:

• Industry and company research

• Review of potential acquisition targets

• Financial analysis and valuation

• Support in business strategy projects and benchmarking exercises

• Project management, including execution of M&A transactions (e.g., due diligence)

• Assistance on Corporate Venture Capital activities

• Preparing presentations, memos etc. for senior management on strategic initiatives

Profil et compétences recherchées

• Master Studies in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Management or similar at a renowned university or business school (ideally Grande Ecole); legal/regulatory knowledge is a plus

• Strong written and oral English and French skills; German is a plus

• Some experience in Corporate Finance / M&A and / or project management

• Open-minded, curious and interested to learn about and deep dive into new topics

• Outspoken with strong interpersonal skills

• Analytical and structured problem-solving skills

• Ability to work in a multi-cultural team

• Good knowledge of MS Office
